Default Iphone/ ipod connector

Well I purhcased one of these last night. My understanding is they only make them for the Old style 30 pin port. I will need to buy a Lightning cord to convert to iPhone 5.
Will this still charge my phone ?
Will I have all the function ?

It looks pretty easy to install.. Any advice ?

Mine came with the connector in the saddlebag. I'm sure yours will be plug and play though. I'm really wanting to add the AM/FM receiver to mine, and still trying to figure out how to do it. I mainly listen to my playlists, but the option to have the am/fm would be nice.

Good luck...

I have the Am/fm radio. Now in the garage with the door open I have no issues. If i close the door a few of the station won't come in.

I really might look at taking mine out and going to Satellite.

No need to remove anything, you just add satellite to it.

Well I installed the iPod it works great. Its not charging the iPhone 5. So I will try and get a new Lighting cable and see if maybe that is the issue.

I went and bought a new lighting cable and everything works fine.
