Default Hard Bag Material

Does anyone know what material the hard bags are made of? It appears to be a plastic. Maybe abs or smc? I want to install bag extensions and I am considering 3M rigid part adhesive/filler.

I installed HMD bag extensions and used a similar product, worked great. Got extensions trimmed and fitted, screwed them on for mock up. Once happy with fit took them back off, prepped bottom of bags and extensions with 80 grit, applied panel glue to both mating surfaces and screwed them back on.
