Default For those of you looking for a rear tour pack...another option

I have been looking for a cheaper alternative to the Vic rear tour pack as i only travel 2 up occasionally and take long trips occasionally and didn't feel the need to spend $1800- @ Vic. So...i stumbled across this alternative. Now, this option has no rear speakers or lights...lights can always be added cheaply enough. Combine this with the KewlMetal rack and together you have a much cheaper alternative

I have the luggage rack, but I mounted a Kingpin top box and used the keyed lock that came with my bike to latch it. It's nice being able to open it with the ignition key.

My set up required drilling 4 mounting holes in the top box as well as honing out the key lock as I believe the lock is designed to fit the XCT hard box.

Anyway, it all works nicely and the Mrs finds it very comfy.

Nice setup you have there! I looked at that same setup but in the end i personally would prefer a pack that matches my bike color. Glad to see we have options.

I actually like the VIP Trunk better:

More rounded to match the Crossbikes, with a built-in spoiler and brake lights
