Default Exhaust resonating with stock tips

Yes another exhaust thread, mods, move if desired, but there has been a lot of discussion with exhaust being not what they wanted lately and I just got mine dialed in to me.

I have the stage 1 pipes, quiet or loud I have not a clue, but I wanted a little bit more rumble from them and I didn't care for the look of the pipe through the tip. Winter mods included removing the offending part of the final exhaust tubing that I could see through the tip, I ended up with loosing a bit more then 3/4" in a slash cut. A quick file and spray back to black and the tips were on again and I have just the sound I wanted.

So, 30 min total and zero cost as I owned the tools and had the paint, I got the look and sound I wanted.

Does the angle cut improve the sound?

The pipe was cut at an angle to match the angle on the tip. The sound is deeper and more of a rumble then before.

Do I understand correctly that you trimmed 3/4" off the exhaust pipe?
