Default CC 8-ball vs CC Tour weight?

Why is the 8-ball 99 lbs lighter? The tour pack and lowers can't weigh that much. Anyone got more info and shed some light on this for me?

I am looking on line and is states it has a stereo. No, wait, it has speakers and no stereo. The cruise weighs maybe 3 lbs. I put it on another bike.

In the future I would not mind making my bike lighter. This is good food for thought.

You guys do realize I am adjusting for:

No tour pack
No lowers

Those 2 things do not equate to 100 lbs.

Take away the stereo and cruise maybe 10 more lbs.
I am not sure what the ABS weighs.

I guess all the little doo-dads add up.

No way. I will have to weigh that thing. It does not feel that heavy to me when I carry it around.
