Default Show us your lowers!

Hi everyone,
I'm new here and new to this bike.
First of all, I love it. My wife calls it "our bike".
That's never happened before.

True to this forum there is some buffeting at speed so my first mod was the factory tall windscreen. We rode for 300mi this weekend and things are much better.
I still want some lowers but I'm not sure which ones. I ordered the OEMs but I'm starting to regret the premium price.

Could you guys post pics of your lowers so I can compare?

Using these soft lowers with a 15 inch Cee Bailey. Eliminates the buffeting but gets kinda warm on the legs during the summer months. Only use them on long trips in the summer.

Works great in the cool weather now, legs don't get cold.

Very cool lowers......

I like the brake pedal -- where did you get it? I feel like I am searching for the rear brake pedal on my XR when I am wearing my thick riding boots.

Go to the Victory Motorcycle Forum and search for "brake pedal upgrade". A guy over there sells them...not even sure if he still has any.

I've got the Bakers as well and don't really think they do much for the buffeting per se but they do help with the updraft. I've got the Memphis Shades mounts and the home made designed plexi that sjavera came up with. They work well with the 7Jurock +4" (13") shield I'm currently using. Going with the Vic lowers and Klockwerks shield soon though.

As someone else said they help with the updraft which helps a bit in the buffeting. A taller windshield is needed to eliminate or nearly eliminate the buffeting. I mounted a Cee Bailey's 19 inch on my 2011 and took off on a trip. No buffeting! Do a search on windshields. There are many, many threads and everyone has an opinion.
