Default For those of you that added a amp...wiring?

I know there are many choices, i've done some searching in this forum and was wondering how you hooked up the speaker lines. did you just splice the speaker wires into the line wires and turn them into RCA's to plug into the amp or did you use a line convertor to turn the speaker wires to RCA?

thx for the input in advance

I cut the factory speaker wires and soldered the input and output harnesses of my amp (RF PBR300X4) directly to them. IMO, soldering and shrink wrap is the most permanent and solid connection method. Pretty simple to do.

I cut the factory wires and soldered each connection, then used shrink wrap as well. I only wanted to do it once and didn't want to take a chance with any type of connector having problems in the future.
