Default F/S Adapter for Streadying Cross Bike on Lift $5

NO LONGER AVAILABLE
This simple and cheap adapter will have your Cross bike rock solid on your lift. Just rubber band it in place on the round crossbar at the base of the left passenger peg as shown. Front of the bike is to the left in the photos. That holds it in place while you position and raise your lift. I find that if I angle my lift about 20 degrees (handle toward the rear of bike) I can get the front lift arm end to abut the sidestand mount and the rear lift arm to be under the adapter and the stout exhaust crossover support. My bike is so steady, I have no need to strap it down. I have even done a tire change, taking both wheels off the bike.
Email me at [email protected] and I'll give you the dimensions to make your own.

Depending on the outcome of the next presidential election, we may all need one of those. I'll see what I can do. Do you have Christopher Lloyd's phone number?

Make that $4 if ordering together with the laydown license bracket.
To order yours, email me at [email protected] for instructions.
Ricz,

Any possibility of a video showing the adapter in action?

Don't have a video camera. C'mon, its too simple. Rubber band it to the round cross bar at the base of the left passenger peg/board support. Raise your lift and viola! I find I have to angle my lift about 15-20 degrees to the rear, so the end of the front arm just touches the sidestand mount and the rear arm is sufficiently under the adapter block. See the photos in the second link in my signature.
