Default Adding a tour pack to XC

I have decided I would like to add the factory tour pack to my bike. What is involved in doing so?

Nothing more than lifting it onto the mounting posts, pulling down the locking levers, and plugging it in.

I have read something about an up fit kit needed. Does it come with the tour pack?

There are spacers/plastic washers you need to take bags off put these on then you have the lock and ride set up. Then putting your trunk on and off are just a two levers either way. I only use mine for long ride. But sometimes my girl wants the backrest and it uses the same lock ride set up so on /off in 1 minute.
