Exactly! Also regular maintenance stuff that others may be over looking and could benefit from. This would not be the right place for questions on how to do some repair etc. But discussing a mod install or even just your changing the transfer case ATF, what you used and how it is shifting after etc...
I learned a lot of stuff concerning mods and maintenance on my TJ -

Regardless, I learn a lot here

OOps. I slipped into Jeep mode - we don't deal with transfer cases..but if you are lubing your cables, found a better psi for your rear shock for your usage or found a wax that worked well ......

Hi,
I just installed HID lights in my 12' XC. I bought them from VictoryHID They arrived really quick. It was an easy install, I did go to the local NAPA shop and bought some Velcro to keep the HID housing from jiggling around. Funny, when I am cruising along and I hit the Hi-beam, the radio restarts. It only does it a couple times, and then it acts normal. I assume its after it warms up. Anyway, I am 100% happy with the brightness, whole new world out there.

I also took the seal off of the frame for the air filter. Makes it a little more noisy, I am not sure how I like it. Once the weather makes up her mind I will take it on a longer ride and figure it out.

The bags come off very easy - lining up the twist pegs to re-install can be interesting ....
True, getting the bags back on was the trickiest part of the whole deal... A little patience though and they went on...

Yep, the backrest came with the extra nut and bolt installed to lock the lever. I'm undecided on whether it will stay on all the time or be used only when I plan to have a passenger. Finding somewhere to keep the thing while not on the bike may be problematic as it's not exactly small...

Funny you should ask! Today, I removed the clutch lever and cleaned and lubed the pivot bushing in and out and did the same with both ends of the cable.

I did a new Mitchlin Tire on the rear of my XCT Saturday. After the tire install I got in a 70 mile ride in warm weather. Sunday wasn't so nice, but Monday was GREAT. After work, I picked up my wife after she got off work and got in another nice ride in the country.
Monday was a 75* perfect riding day, with very little traffic.

Yeah Orbiker, its finally our turn for some nice riding weather, while other parts of the country suffer.

My bike is coming up 21,000 miles in only 1 1/2 years. I try not to waste any nice riding days.
