Does anyone know if I have to bypass the factory amp to add an aftermarket amp and speakers to a xc 8 ball

Do a Search on this, or just look through the XC/XR thread pages. There are multiple, very helpful (with photos and instructions) threads on Amp and Speaker installs.

The 8 ball does not have a radio just an iPod connection and a factory 2 channel amp so if I use the speaker wires as an input into the new amp will that fry the factory amp
