Default New Yuasa battery comes with Star washer

So, decided to replace the battery, had intermittent starting problems. Good news so far starts right up, better cranking power.

Now for the interesting part. Our bikes come from Victory with a std washer on the battery terminal. We all know about the terminal screws coming loose and the replace washer with a star washer, but interestingly the same battery comes from the manufacturer WITH the correct washer, and a brass terminal insert (female) instead of std metal.

Wonder why Vic didn't stay with this setup?

Interesting.

Maybe didn't want to pay royalties to Mr. Star.

Yeah, the stock batteries in our bikes are weaker than circus lemonade.

Please add your bike's year and model to your signature. Here's why.

I put the same battery back it. 18map. Found on internet for $79 and wanted to be sure it fit, and it's real tight getting it in and out behind the fender with neg wire and cooler tucked in above!

If cheap ass Vic would of gone with flexible cables they would not come loose. The cables are bike have are from back in the 70's and were no good then.
Just about two years ago you could find battery coming with a brass washer.
