Default How hard is it to install the CB/Intercom?

How hard is it to install the CB and Intercom on a CCT? I can find the antenna, audio kit and CB for cheaper than my dealer wants for it and have them install it for about $250, but might want to save that $250 and install myself. Ideas?

I installed over the winter when I tore the bike down for some other mods too. If it has ABS the entire rear fender must come off to mount the box. Make sure you have all the proper connectors for the radio, mine didn't come with the accessory adapter so I had to wait to have one shipped. Swapping on the controls was easy enough but use caution if you have heated grips, the set screws can be stripped easily, I now have a bit of a wiggle on the grip.

So, not so bad to install but you'll do twice the work with ABS.
