Default hard lowers

ok this may get me some heat, but has anyone here tried fitting a set of hd hard lowers to a cross bike with round crash bars?

haha, they are plentiful, and yes i am watching a set on ebay now, $89 i think. just wondering how close of a fit they would be, wouldnt mind a set of hard lowers, and the hds are all over , and cheap! and for around $90 i found a set of speaker pods for them.

Should be interesting. I'm wondering if there was an easy way to make a quick release for stock Vic lowers. Course haven't even attempted taking them off yet. I figure I could just stuff the iPod connector in the fairing.

Wouldn't work without a lot of modifying to either the lowers, or making a new set of crash bars. The Vic bars get a lot smaller in height on the outside then the H-D ones do.
If I were to do it, I'd buy a set of H-D crash bars, then cut/weld them to fit the Vic.
