Default Need help with Clutch side Avon grip!!!

So I put on my throttle side grip no problem.
The clutch side tape/adhesive that I got with the grips did not take and a day after installing them, it slid off. Should I use super glue? I really need help here, I'm def not the most advanced when it comes to installing stuff but this seemed pretty simple....help please!!!

If you tighten the set screws. There is no way it will come off

Ok, even if the glue or adhesive still hasn't set after 18 hours?

Thanks for the help.

If you really want some type of adhesive, I use grip tape for making golf cubs. I have used it for every aftermarket grip assembly I have ever done.

I've heard of the grip tape, and hairspray too. Apparently it gets pretty sticky after it's dry.

The tape/adhesive is just there to take up space; so the grip does not feel loose. The set screws are what holds it in place
