Default Roadside Service

Any recommendations or experience with a roadside service? I am planning a long trip and would like to purchase roadside service from someone, just sure who to go with. I have State Farm insurance and they do not offer it for a motorcycle. If anyone has had good or bad experience with a company I would like to hear from you.

I have Progressive's roadside assistance and they treated me great. I posted what happened in the "Trust that inner voice" thread. Basically I was in Onley VA when I called for Roadside Assistance. At first the agent stated that she would have me towed to Norfolk but that is 3 1/2 hours away from home. I asked if there was anywhere further north and she then asked me where I'd like it taken. I didn't think they would go for it but I asked to have it towed to Annapolis MD which is about 150 miles away (twice the distance from Norfolk) and she said no problem it was covered except that I had to pay for the bridge toll.

I also just got their renewal and I am a Platinum member because I didn't have a claim during the last coverage period so my rates came down again.

AAA but it would be an expensive option to just cover a motorcycle.

Liberty Mutual was great for a tow. No motorcycle mechanical skills though so it was a tow but they were there very quickly

I've had to use AMA's a number of times. They have a 30 mile limit however. After reading Goat's review of Progressive's service I may have to pick up that coverage since I already have insurance with them anyway.

Victory has road side assistant ( VRA ). I have it for free for the first year. It came with the bike. I haven't had to use it yet and hope I don't need to.
