Default Question from an Indian guy

If you're cruising down the highway in cruise drive at 75 mph, what's your tach reading?

Answer from a Mexican guy: a Steinbeck novel.

Is it 130 on the highway like this pic? I think 80 mph is about 3100 rpm. Not sure about 75. Probably 2900 rpm. By the way; I was in 5th gear for this pic. Too slow for 6th.

That's compatible to my Indian. 75 mph = 2675 rpm, 80 mph = 2850 rpm.

I'm right with BBob plus agree with the too slow part. The 106 doesn't like to run low RPMs and 2500 and is a good place to keep it while cruising. Trying to accellerate hard from below 2500 rpm is much less effective than at or over 2500. These big V's prefer to spin and much to the dismay of many don't jiggle your body fat away while idling!
