Default Stock brake line with Ness fly bars?

I am going to buy a set of ness fly bars for my 04 vegas. I already know I have to put a new ( 2005 or newer ) triple tree so my new bars will fit buuuuut question is...

Can I use my stock brake line with ness fly bars?

The victory catalog say when using the ram or fly bars you need a new brake line but from reading things around here I cant find anyone saying this.

Thanks your your help fellas.

Austin

Yup. You can streach it to where it seems to work, but you do not have enough slack on the bottom for the forks to get full extension.

Agreed. I've been riding street bikes my entire adult life and I feel like I'm getting nickled and dimed wwaaaaay more with a cruiser than my current Yamaha R1 street bike.

Just seems like victory mods are waaaaaay more than usual and not super high end well made. Yea some stuff is nice but $300 for a license plate mount etc is too much.

Just my 2 cents
