Default Cute story heading home

I went out for a ride today to meet my buddy for lunch.
On the way back home, on a busy side street, I see an old guy on a tiny scooter, riding on the far right hand side of the lane.
All the cars are trying to get around him.
He stops at a red light and I pull up beside him.
I mean, his little scooter is the size of my gas tank.
People in other cars are yelling things at us and laughing.
He looks at me and says "I wish I still had my motorcycle license, but they took it away from me because I owed them a lot of money".
I said "Hey, riding is riding... 2 wheels is 2 wheels".
He said "Well thank you very much".
The light turned green and I wished him a great day.
It doesn't matter what you ride, enjoy it and have fun.

Curious to know what they were yelling and laughing about. Hopefully nothing demeaning.

I've always wanted a motorcycle. In 2010 we vacationed in Panama City, Fl. and right across the street there was a scooter rental place. It was hot that day but I rode that sucker all over the place. Had a blast!
I was a little sad that it would only do a hunnerd mph though... LOL!
Seemed like it anyway!

That was it! I bought my first my bike when I got home.
