I too have given up on the Stabel air horns after replacing about 6 on 3 different bikes.

I now have the Fiamm freeway Blaster, hi and low tone electric horns on my bike. They sound like a very large old Buick. People don't look for a motorcycle when they hear it.

I used the Wolo Twin Power electric "air" horns. Painted them black. Sound great and no compressor needed. The are huge and ugly tho.
