Hey!

Thanks for posting this. I was mostly intrigued when I clicked on the scout shootout. I watched it all and wanted to be sure these guys were not paid to praise the scout and soon understood they were being honest.

It is very obvious to me especially after owning several bikes before buying my Vegas that Polaris is the bike builder to contend with.

I really do not see me owning any other brand. Next bike could either be Victory or possibly an Indian.

None of that new "muscle" or "performance" has shown up yet. SoS for 2016, at least so far.

One could argue that the Empulse TT is the first as it has a racing pedigree from Isle of Man.

And, I believe, Project 156 will be delivered in the form of the Octane model leveraging the Scout's engine increased to 140 HP.

OK, I give. Since when is Victory's focus on performance new? They have been outperforming things like HD for many years now. The 156 project is a way to publicize it but my Vision will out-pull all but a very serious HD build and I have no cams or fancy exhausts on my bike.
OkieHoss likes this.

I guess it's like the performance factor has been kept in the closet Oldman. Now is appears Victory have seen the advantage of being / advertising performance.

A bit like Vespa advertising it's nimble city handling and then focusing on fuel consumption. It had great fuel consumption before just they never used it as an marketing point.
