Default Dealership Tour

I'm sure everyone out there has a couple "bike shop" t-shirts in their collection. It is always interesting to see where other riders have been in their travels, but I always wonder what the shops are actually like.

I had the chance while out in Alberta last week to stop in at a couple Vic dealerships to pick up my new wardrobe additions and was blown away at one of the shops I stopped at.

Elk Island in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.

Probably to cleanest shop I've been to. They had multiple buildings dedicated to the different Polaris lines they carried, plus their service department.

Their layout screamed showroom instead of the typical bike shops sterile look. It was also ironic that the cashier was an ex-pat girl from Sudbury, Ontario ... Go figure.

Roughly 1/3 of the building was dedicated to their clothing .... Helmets, shirts, riding gear, etc ...... And an entire wall was stocked with various factory and aftermarket accessories. I wish I had of gotten a couple pictures to do it justice.

Anyone else want to throw a shout out to a dealership that impressed them?

Mike

I was in one in AZ.... Can't remember what town it was though. I bought a tshirt from them and then left it in the hotel room in Laughlin. They had Lloydz parts galore, there own cool tshirts, and lots of Vic accessories. Elk Island is a wicked Vic shop I have been there many times.
