Default Wind Tunnel

Have any of you ever read where Polaris/Victory ever did wind tunnel design to any of there bagers.
Or did they just use a block of clay and carve out a fairing and so on

I'm guessing they designed it with out wind tunnel testing. Is there a reason your asking?

Buffeting is going to pretty much happen anytime you put a large shield or fairing in front of you.

Any side wind or riding behind a semi is going to produce buffeting or rather constant rider adjustments to keep the center of gravity under the bike, wind tunnel tested or not. Vision is pretty good and certainly way better than the windshield on my last bike. Even that, though there was some buffeting, beats no wind protection, imo. Goldwings are tunnel tested but they buffet under same conditions.
