Save yourself the trouble. Just invest in a nomar tire changer. I have the harbor freight tire changer and motorcycle adaptor it's a piece of crap. The clamps don't hold the rim. It will pop out as soon as you put pressure on it. The center post doesn't fit the Vic rim. I had to go to the hardware store to get one that fit. I have to use ratchet straps to hold the rim in place. The mount demount bar will scratch the shit out of your rim. I bought a bunch of nomar tools which are way better and I can now use the harbor freight machine. The thing is it would have cost me less if I would have just bought one of the nomar packages to begin with. And I'd have a way better machine. Trust me the XC rear tire is a tough tire to change. You won't do it with zip ties. So best bet is either buy the right tools or take it to the shop. Check out nomar's YouTube video on changing a gold wing tire it's the same tire xc'a use
