Anyone else tired of seeing a Ducati on the front page when you login? Hey Mr/Mrs administrator, can we get that thing off our website? How about a Victory on the front page when I login?
This is one of my favorite forums other than the lack of management....How long would a Victory pic be on a Ducati sign in page? Total lack of "pride" by our forum "leaders".
But the threads are still informative,,,,,,for the most part :laugh
I guess beauty IS in the eye of the beholder. I never have liked the naked bike look - baggers, the bigger the better have always been my favorite. If the Indians had larger saddlebags - I would consider one as my next bike. I do alot of overnight trips
I plan on keeping my Vic for a few more years tho - til 100,000 miles, maybe more if there continues to be no issues.
Wait a sec, I've never considered that our admins could be 16 year old kids living in their mom's basement. Hell, there's 35 year old's doing the same thing. They could be mentally locked into an endless loop of Minecraft or trying to find Carmen Sandiego or finally get all the credits in Putt-Putt.
They could be trapped by Super Mario characters dreaming for the day they can graduate to Need For Speed, Track Mania and finally to F1 2013. Imagine the poor little buggers spending years trying to master Mototrial UK, Dirtbike Apocalypse and TT Racer. All as a prerequisite to eventually join the ranks of the big boys jamming on Superbike Racer and Sports Bike Challenge. All just to gain the ultimate prize and being able to handle the Pegassi 801RR in GTA5.
Years dreamily gazing at the posters on the wall. The NInja H2R, Yamaha R1M, Suzuki Hayabusa and yes, eventually, front and center, the ultimate prize, the Ducati 1299 Panigale S.
Woe are the admins who lurk in the dark corners of the basement either too young to get a license or can't hold a real job to buy the bike themselves. Imagine them having to live with that bitch of a mom upstairs who won't kick out the 45 grand for the Duc. Just waiting until she kicks the bucket and the admin can sell all of her belongings to buy the bike. Or if that's not possible, at least a lifetime subscription to the upgrades of Grand Theft Auto 5.
So shame on us all for presenting unreasonable challenges on the admins. They toil looking after the shrines on their back wall in the basement to the likes of Kato and Marco Simancelli and keeping the spider webs away from the posters of Yonny Hernandez, Danilo Petrucci, Andrea Dovisio, and the rest of the Ducati teams.
Shame on us for asking time away from their daily rituals when they wake up at 2PM to stick pins into the dolls they personally hand made of Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez.
Rather than intrude on their tasks of self-flagellation and cries of "Hail Ducati" while gazing at the likeness of "He Who Must Not Be Named" valentino rossi, we should instead take pity on these poor souls.
Please, if you know any of them personally, beg them to seek help. Read this and pass it on to them. teenagers-addicted-to-computer-games.html Urge them to seek the support groups they need. Understand though that our admins seem too far gone and may require an intervention.
Please help. The sooner they realize the error of their ways the sooner they will rip down that f'n poster on the basement wall, and our homepage, we can get some minimal items attended to.
The Duc is no longer at the the top of the incoming page so obviously the imbeciles have been reading the comments and just choose not to do anything about it. I was starting to think they just don't know how but as it turns out, they're just too lazy. Replacing the photo with another non-Victory product shows they really don't give a damn about the responsibilities they've taken on. Imagine that; admins who are actually the trolls. Too funny.
For others who are interested I no longer have to look at the photos these guys put on here. I've tagged them in my Ad Blocker and they disappear. Until they grow up, it stays that way so it's no longer an itch.
That nobody controls this site is a GOOD thing ... On the "other" site some people got "banned" for 1 month, how would THAT make you feel when your a member sins 2009 or something like that ..... ?
Personally I always thought the whole Ducati thing was promoting the Milan show ? Not Ducati. I mean it was after all the Milan show...said to be the worlds largest ? Milan = Italy where is Ducati made ??....well I'l be darn Italy . If the the worlds largest show was in 'Germany' ? I'd suspect they would post a photo of a BMW ?
I seriously doubt the forum was 'pushing' another brand.........jmo.
