Default Road Trip

My brother and I are trying to plan our spring/summer road trip. I've plotted the route here,
https://www.google.com/maps/dir/42.7...27c43d!1m0!3e0
I would appreciate any comments. We are trying to keep the trip to 7-8 days. As for lodging, day one, stop at Gettysburg, as for the rest we might just wing it and see where we get by the end of the day.

757 miles? What are you going to do for the rest of the 6 days?

Lol... I had to bust your balls a bit. I wouldn't actually enjoy riding 757 miles in one day but I have done close to that. For sight seeing, beer drinking, eating and enjoyment purposes, plan on doing 250-350 miles per day. If you guys are in the mood to ride more than that you great. I noticed you plan on taking the same road back as you took down. When I plan a trip I generally never take the same road twice on that ride.

I would add the Skyline Drive and part of the Blue Ridge Parkway to your trip.

Agreed. My brother and I did both of these a couple of years ago. Absolutely amazing views. It was cold when we did it, so I'm planning to do it again in the summer time during the next few years.
