Default MSD Ignition Info Wanted

I've read that the MSD ignition coil set return next to a zero increase in actual hp or torque. But, they simply look so good I keep thinking about them anyway. I don't understand why they're so expensive though. Here is my question;

Do they interfere (add noise) with radio/XM/bluetooth performance in any way or cause any other performance problems?

My bike is a CCT and I regularly use my Sena bluetooth setup.

Thank You,

All the best,

Mark

When I placed my second order to plan my bolt-on power upgrades

PC 5 / Lloydz Adjustable Timing System& gasket / Torque Tube Intake Blue Re-Usable Hi-Flow Filter (WITH NITROUS HOOKUP) for 08-up Models (w/ Idle Air Valve Assembly)

then the MSD was on that list, and despite the power gain is only 1 HP, i still was considering the MSD, but luckily the company who sold me all this stuff was so kind NOT TO DO IT ....

so i didn't ....

only my experience on the web ..

These are Accel plug wires if you are going for the look. I would not change the coil on my bike it is not worth the time or money. No performance gain unless you are running a blower and drag racing.

I also stuck some red plug wires on last winter. They look cool and cost all of $35......and for some reason I never took a pic of them

The BFC colors are red and blue so I already have one red and one blue plug wire. I purchased these from Withdoctors a couple years ago.

All the best,

About a year ago there was 1 member that went for a DYNO tune and the thingy they clip around your plug wires ??

Well ACCEL plug wires did not give any @ enough electrical readout ( insulation is to good aparently ), so they had to put some stock wires on there to do the DYNO ... How cool is that product ... ACCEL wires are on my bucket order list ...

If it's true or not I do not know, but I seem to remember also it was a HD tuner ... Not a VIC tuner that are on this forum ..

For what its worth we make the MSD coil kits. I tell people that on the newer -08 up bikes you won't see any HP gains. They are pretty much for looks. On the 07 and older bikes they do help with cleaning up the idle a bit and do provide some gains on bikes running on the rich side. As far as wires go we make most of them as well. People do say the wires help and double as looking good. Hope this helps.
