It was so exciting, that we'd beg Mom to let us sleep in bed wearing our new shoes, and we could the first night.
Although I have had my XR since March of 2010, it's still a new bike to me. Whenever I park it, as I'm walking away, I HAVE TO turn and look back at it. I have done so many things that "make it mine" that, in my mind, its the only one out there like it. So bbgjoe, the new may never wear off. Make room in your bed.
