Default BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER REPAIR SEAL KIT ( Nissin)

Hello good day. I have damaged the master pump of the rear brake of my Victory vision. As you know, it is from the Nissin brand. I wanted to know if you know where they sell the BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER REPAIR SEAL KIT to be able to repair it. I searched on Ebay but only sold the whole rear brake pump not the repair kit? thank you very much

Might want to talk to @Motorbikerx. I seem to remember him going through this at one time with his Vegas.

This does bring up a good point. This is another item that when they are done making them; something else will have to be worked out to repair them in the future or just plain replace them with something else that'll work. I guess what they say about necessity being the mother of invention is at least partially true.

Hayabuso

what year is the vision. Try a Honda or Kawasaki bike shop. Victory is not the only one using the Nissin

Like VJ posted, it's a Nissan brake caliper. I'd have serious doubts it was made specifically for the Victory. There's a much greater chance it's a brake caliper that fits a wide(r) variety of other motorcycles. The trick may be finding out what other makes and/or models it was used on. I'd suspect the bracket that holds the brake caliper has a much higher chance of being Victory specific than does the brake caliper itself.

Verifying the exact nomenclature of the brake caliper is a good first step. It has XX number of pistons in XX size and works on a XX thick disc that's XX in diameter. Then measure the center to center distance of the mounting points and the size of them. From there verify the location brake line mounting position and size. You may find out that buying a used caliper is a faster and less costly option.

On previous brands and bikes I've had I found that parts interchange on many common items. Typically that information comes from owners groups long before the manufacturer. If you haven't yet, I'd suggest you also ask this question on the 3 letter forum as well as the one on Facebook. I've been logged off the 3 letter forum for a long time and have found the owners group on Facebook to be the largest and most active group by a wide margin. Though, like any group, you'll find some are helpful and some aren't.

All the best,

Mark

Also informed me the master cylinder(pump)
Is teflon lined so cant really be honed.
