Default What % is "VICTORY" of the overall motorcycle culture?

Silly question that popped into my head this morning and I don't know how to research it.
Of all the motorcycles currently on the road, what percentage are Victory? How exclusive are we, collectively, as owners of this brand? Are we 10% of the overall bikes being ridden, or maybe even less? I would think it's less but don't know how to verify. Whatever that number is, as time goes on, it would naturally drop since no new Victories are being made. Would we ever become the true 1%ers - or less?

Check this out. HD is like 148,000 motorcycles. Honda & Yamaha alone? Over 23 MILLION. Pretty sure Vic then would have been lucky to make 1%😁

In my neck of the woods my Vic is 0.01% of the bike brands around here! Thing is that I still have people come up and ask me about my bike (usually want kind of HD or Honda is it). Majority have positive comments about the styling but the majority also do not have a clue what a Victory is, who makes it (made it I should say), or where it is made. A few weeks ago I had some dude in a Tundra follow till I pulled over to get gas just to find out what kind of custom bike I was on.

I have seen less than 5 Victory on the road in the time that I've known what a Victory is. There are only 100 ish members on the state Facebook group I joined.
Indians? Now I see those daily.
If they took the modern styling of the Victory and slapped an Indian logo on it minus the 40 chrome ornaments I'd be interested.

So my thinking is WAY off when you factor in the global market of the Japanese bikes, I bet you're right that Victory would struggle to muster a fraction of a percent WHICH IS EVEN BETTER for the daydream I was having about Victory's exclusivity. If I had a solid statistic to back it up I would totally make up a sticker something along the lines of the image below and proudly display it on my bike to show my Victory pride.

I went to craigslist to see how many Vic's were for sale. There was 140 all models. We have a victory club that was started in 99 there is over 200 members mostly guys but a few women. I know there is more Vic riders that are not members. I'm sure there are 10 other model bikers compared to one Vic's. For only have a short riding season we reight high in number of MC in our state

I think 0.1% is more accurate ... And the affiliation with 1% is not nice so again 0.1% is more "fun" anyway, hahahah

Excellent question....As of 2017 there are approximately 12.5M motorcycles registered here in the UK. Apparently only around 2500 Victory motorcycles have been imported to the UK so they're pretty darn special. I rarely see one on the road and I live in a biker rich area of the country. I see a few at motorcycle show's and I know of local chap that has a Cross roads plus Bruvs and my Judge.

I calculate the percentage to be 0.02%
