If it needs no rider, then it needs no buyer.

The only possible circumstance I can imagine something like this having any worth is to deliver one or more bikes remotely to a location where, say, elite troops would need a ride out. How would it not be seen by locals or others; I have no idea. Off the beaten path maybe.

This seems to happen in a lot of different industries over the last 50 years. Engineers with too much free time on their hands creating something nobody asked for or needs. Just to keep them busy.

when SkyNet takes over, this is how they will chase us down to eliminate the human threat...

but seems like this is the motorcycle version of the Tesla autonomous car... in which case I would argue that being connected to my machine is part of the fun....
However, i will play devils advocate here and what about a paralyzed vet who hasn't ridden since being deployed and losing limbs or something in campaign? this could be something, albeit a novelty, that would get his/her knees in the breeze, even if just on a closed course or something... obviously it wouldn't work the way it is, but as a concept, testing the functionality of the gps and such, i could see a very small niche that it would fill...

but i still say this is how the war of machines starts...
