We are visiting our daughter's family (including our twin granddaughters) in NC for the holiday so no riding for us. I did note the even distribution of temperatures in places we live or have lived - 70 F today in central FL, 50 F in the Raleigh/Durham area of NC (admittedly it is slightly colder in the mountains where we spend our summers), and 30 F in central MI today where we used to spend summers prior to 2018. We will be back in FL tomorrow early evening and I expect to be on the bike Thursday.

G'day,

Vinish

Our patriotic stable:

Red 2012 XCT (wife's bike in NC)
Red 2012 XCT (my bike for NC)
White with custom flames 2012 XCT (wife's bike in FL)
Blue custom fire on a black 2012 XCT (my bike in FL)

2006 HD Softail Heritage (my bike when I was in MI - sold in Oct, 2017 after putting 45,000 miles and 20 states and one province on it - My first big bike and most of us will always remember our first with fond memories)

I was nice enough to ride but I was busy getting things ready for guest. I got the turkey on early and had all kinds of things to do. It was a good day, but I'm glad it is over with.

Riding: 2011 XC
Sold: 2003 Vegas
Totaled: 2003 TC, But it's still on the road.
Sold: 2004 TC
This is Just the list of Victory's. I have also rode and owned Honda's, Kawasaki's, Suzuki's, Harley's. Some old European bike. Can't remember the name. It was a 3 speed and I started riding on a 50cc bike that Sears sold. Some time around 1967. I have had my motorcycle license since 1969.

Most all of the family has the sniffles, so Christmas day was just the wife and me. While she was preparing a prime rib dinner - complete with Yorkshire pudding, I might add - I got to use the gift I bought for myself, a Bissell Crosswave all-in-one floor cleaner, on our upstairs hard floors. Most do their cleaning before Christmas, but I like being different - that's why I have a Victory.
Hoping all will be rid of their colds by then, we will have the gift orgy on New Years Eve.

2010 Midnight Cherry XR. 7Jurock, Lloydz AF, ATS, AFR tuned VFCIII, IAV, and T-6 and locally repacked pipes = big smiles. SOLD to a dear friend, so it's still in the family."
2017 Spyder F3 Limited - keeps this old guy in the wind and riding with friends.
Cure that ugly stand up license plate with the cheapest and best laydown bracket. Click this:

The virus going around the country, and probably the world, is a virulent one. Consider yourself lucky for dodging that bullet. I've been down with it since Friday night. Feeling somewhat better today but still have that nagging cough. Feels like it will last for a while. My dad, who lives in a different state, got it two days before me.
