Default Been a while. Iím back with a project

So I have popped in and out here since I sold my XC the end of Ď17.
Iíve been missing the Victory truth be told. So I was perusing an auction online and ran across a totaled police bike.
So long story short, I won that auction and now am knee deep in a slow build. So I figured Iíd come back and share it
With you guys. Itís always nice to have outside input and ideas.
So this is a 2013 Xc thatís rough to say the least. But once I got it home and stripped it down I Hotwired it to make sure it runs. And it does. It didnít come with a key, it had a keyless module installed, but the fairing is gone and so part of the fairing wiring is gone too.
I picked up a better tank(notice I Said better, lol) from a friend who laid his down and it was replaced when they repaired his bike.I also got a left saddlebag and lid,a windshield, and outer fairing from him for a song. I still need all the other fairing pieces a front fender, handlebars, bag hinges(although I may just get some covers), and a few other odds and ends.
Iíll try and post a few pics..

Ok, so I canít seem to post from my iPad. Can someone refresh my memory how to get pics on here again. Iíll do a search in the meantime and see if I can figure it out.

Well, I figured out how to get pics here, but they are a Little jumbled.

This will be a fun project for all of us to follow along as you put it back together.

Is there such a thing as a rat rod motorcycle? Beat up on the outside and a mean sum bitch for a motor?

You definitely got a project there. Should be interesting to see how it goes and if you think it was worth it in the end.

My wife definitely thinks Iím crazy. But she knows where I am.
As far as money goes, yea Iím sure I could have bought a nice bike for what this will cost depending on what direction I take.

This is Just the list of Victory's. I have also rode and owned Honda's, Kawasaki's, Suzuki's, Harley's. Some old European bike. Can't remember the name. It was a 3 speed and I started riding on a 50cc bike that Sears sold. Some time around 1967. I have had my motorcycle license since 1969.

So I learned something about Marana Cop Bikes, they donít keep em real clean. The top of the engine, throttle bodies, air filter, and top of the frame were a big greaseball.
Hereís some pics as of now. I pretty much got all the bad parts off, except the rear fender support. Itís a little bent. Might be able to straighten that out.

You guys are right, itís gonna take a while. Iíll juts have to collect parts, clean everything up and start getting the boy work ready for paint.
