Yes, I have noticed that too. The engine smooths right out very soon after starting.

Has anyone found the new Rotella T6 15W-40 synthetic oil for sale in 1 gallon jugs? I can't find anyplace except from Shell in large quantities.

Thanks, I saw that add but I am trying to find a 1 gal. jug just to try it. Purchasing 3 gal. before I test it is more that I want to invest.

FOUND IT!

My local Wallmarts have it in stock. $19.97 per Gal.

I ordered 2gal. so I won't have to mix to get 4.5 qt. in the bike.

Will pick up later today.

Sure beats Amazon's price of over $34.00 per Gal.

Now that you have the oil you have to get the WIX oil filter to go with it

After only 1420 miles, I dumped the Rotella 1/2 and 1/2 T4 and T6. The shifting was getting rough and finding neutral was a real pain. I am sure that the 100 degree heat that I was riding in over the weekend had something to do with that. My bike just didn't like that mix.

I installed the new Rotella T6 15W-40 to see how that works. The difference at start up with the new oil was amazing but it always is after fresh oil is installed. Here's hoping.
