its what i use in mine... although if memory serves its 5w40... i have to double check when i get home tonite but my XR loves it and so did my Hammer when i had it. can't remember who turned me onto it, but it was in one of the many oil threads on this site and I am glad i did because the oil change from Vic is ridiculous priced. I can do it with that stuff at half the price from Wallyworld... lol

you got your jesus on the dashboard, the devil's under my hood. you're takin' down to legal, i'm pulling it up to no good.
god is your co-pilot, i let satan ride shotgun, you pay a toll to get to heaven, but on the road to hell there's none..... \m/ \m/

Interesting. Supports the requirements for the Victory.

Having said that, I'm having very good luck with Spectro Golden 4 20w40 for Victory (L.SG424). The difference I felt going from T6 5w40 to Spectro Golden 4 20w40 Vic was about as good as from Victory oil to the T6.

Used T-6 for years. When i switched for Vic oil to T-6, lifters quieted down and shifting was smoother. Going to switch to T-6 in my Spyder too. Lots od band for the buck - good stuff that!

I think it's a new viscosity in the T6 product line. They had 5w40 and they're adding 15w40. Not sure what the difference is between T4 vs T6 15w40 tho, I didn't read that deep into it.

The new T6 15W-40 full synthetic is much closer to the 20W-40 that Victory specked out. That is what interests me. I know it is probably just me, but I have always felt that the 5W-40 was a bit light for the hot summer months.

Yes, I know the 40 is what counts and that others have been using it in hotter places than I ride in. Like is said, it's just me.

I will be trying it as soon as I see it in the stores and use up the T4 and T6 that I have in stock. One more change.

It meets spec for being safe for motorcycle wet clutches. Used for years in my Honda and it went into the Vic. Same car oil filter too.

Don't worry your head about using the 5W-40 during the summer Richie, in summer, it thickens to 40 real fast.

I notice using the Rotella T6 5-40wt that in the colder months my CCT really does start easier.
