Default Has anyone ever?

Has anyone ever tried to move the starter relay down by the battery that is such a PITA to get to, especially on the CCT?

Luckily I caught my battery "going out" while still under warranty - I've been having starting issues and luckily it was not the starter or relay going south but could have. Wondered 2 things. 1. - if there is a way to test one while the battery is out while it is easier to reach with that empty battery space. and 2. - can it be tested without a battery in place?

No sir, I have not. I did buy a replacement 40A relay plus the round starter relay. They aren’t much money as I recall so I figured I’ll simply replace them both at my next battery change.

All the best,

138,000 miles. I changed mine, but there was nothing wrong with it. Why waste time relocating it?

Bussmann (hanging in blister packs on the shelves) CBC-40HB 40A Type 1 Auto Reset

Not sure about the starter relay. LMYR
