Allman Brothers is a band from the 70's and Midnight Rider was one of their hit songs. I listen to the song often.

This is Just the list of Victory's. I have also rode and owned Honda's, Kawasaki's, Suzuki's, Harley's. Some old European bike. Can't remember the name. It was a 3 speed and I started riding on a 50cc bike that Sears sold. Some time around 1967. I have had my motorcycle license since 1969.

Being 68 years old and living in Phoenix, AZ. means rising before the sun, and riding until 9am, then napping until noon!

A couple years back I got a pair of "sleeves" made from like the under armour material. I got hi vis yellow. Couple different reasons. I have had skin cancer removed and am susceptible to reoccurrence, so sun block is a must. But I hate the way it makes my arms etc feel. Also as mentioned it keeps direct sun off you like the jackets do. When you sweat it absorbs the sweat and the wind cools off.

Had a great day riding yesterday - low 80's and low humidity.

Something like these?

I tried a set of those too. They are bicycle riding sleeves. Kind of weird putting them on to go riding then taking them off at a restaurant or bar stop. The mesh jacket was far more practical and looked better in my opinion.

I just recently bought a mesh jacket from a guy that had sold his Victory.. bought it for 20 bucks in all but new condition. I was really curious how well it would work in this AZ sunshine and I have to say it is just about perfect for this dry hot weather. Keeps the sun off, and what little you do sweat gets wicked quick and cools you down fast as all get out. Sucks if you get stopped for any length of time.. but almost feels like you're getting doused with a cold water spray when you take off again.
