Default Maybe ready to buy Kingpin or Vegas need help..

Ok, Sale ends at the end of June.

As most of you know, Victory is giving Rebates of up to $5,000 off their 2009 bikes. The 2 that I am seriously thinking about are the Vegas or Kingpin. I am leaning toward the kingpin based on looks and when I sat on it about a month ago.

I would like to know the major difference that would be noticeable. What do regular forks verses inverted forks due for the ride.

One has floorboards and the other appears to have pegs.

One has normal forks the other has inverted forks.

I would also like your opinions on what each bike is trying to market too. Type of ride, use and anything else you can mention.

I will also be posting in the Kingpin and Vegas forum to catch everyone I can. I only have a couple of weeks to compile my data before I make the Jump.

Thanks

Marty

bought a vegas 8 ball and love it. however, after riding distances i started upgrading to make it someone like a kingpin. added bags, passenger seat and pegs and a windshield. floorboards would be nice, but im pretty happy with the pegs. I didnt like the way the victory factory bags look, so i am glad i went this route. if you are happy the way the kingpin looks, go with it. or if you want to make the bike a little different you could always get the vegas and upgrade. good luck!

Do they both have the 100c.i. and 5 speed or are they 106c.i. and 6 speed?

The 2009's are 100/6 unless you buy an 8ball version which is a 100/5.

I would do the KP personally.
Already has some of the items mentioned above and the look of the extended fender is my hook, line and sinker.
