Default Trike Building

I am looking at building a trike over this next winter. (can't ride 2 wheelers anymore, i fall over too easily). Considering 3 bikes, Victory, Yamaha Road Star, HD. in that order. From what I can tell, both the Vic and Yamahas are softail looking construction, and the big yamahas are belt drive, too. don't want to mess with shaft drive, it will double the cost of the conversion, and there is too much power lost in the power transfer.

What is the advantage of the Vic over the Yamaha?

Has anyone done this?

Am a planning fanatic.

Yes it can and has been done.
Lehman makes kits and Kewlmetal makes an independent suspension kit.

I just went to the Lehman site and they have a Victory on the main page.
