Default Paint chipping

Have a 09 Vegas 8ball and the paint on the front shocks is chipping off. Its from the axle on up. I'm guessing this part is powdercoated and not painted. Its not from riding on gravel as I never do but from all the bugs hitting the forks. Its not bad yet but there are alot of little tiny specks of black color missing. I have not checked anthing on the warranty about it, just wanted to see what people here think. I know the 8balls are entry level bikes but the paint should hold up a little better. Is it worth bringing to attention or is it just somthing i gotta live with?
