Got my bike back on June 17th, one month to the day that I bought it.
New bearing did not come in till the 28th of May. No matter what the techs did
they could not get the noise to go away, spacers in the bearing would not seat
inside the wheel. The decision was made to get a new wheel, the new wheel came in
on the 7th of June. Get this, wheel was inside a sealed plastic bag, inside two perfect
packing boxes. About 6 inches of the rim was bent to the outside, no scratches or dings in the wheel looked like it came out of the mold that way at the factory. Had to order another wheel. That wheel came in on the 17th of June.
Side note: I said in last post that there was 90% left that was the front tire, rear was
less but had cupping wear on it, bad wheel?, both tires were radials. After finding out radials on a Kingpin is not good, I went down to the Harley shop and bought a set of Dunlop 407 & 408's they gave me a 15% discount, (better that internet price), I didn't tell them they were going on a Victory. ;-) Anyway, bike is back on road and I just finished a 500 mile overnight trip to the Cottonwood Az. area. Lots of twisties and fun. Bike just ran awesome, can't wait till next weekend. Oh yeah, bottom line, dealership charged me nothing even mounted the new front tire for free. I'm a very happy camper right now. :-)
