Default Clutch Pull

I just bought my first Victory about 2 weeks ago, a used 08 8 Ball, and find that the clutch pull is very long and stiff, which is a problem with my smaller and slightly arthritic hand. I've seen the clutch assist gadgets on eBay, but have not seen them for 08 model years, only the older ones, but there are promises of models for the 08s to come. My question is, do they work, is there another solution such as a better lever, or am I doomed to drop big bucks on a hydraulic clutch? Thanks for any help!

Thumbs up Morning Bob

I have a new Jackpot and ask the same question to a mate who`s wife has a jackpot and she struggled to pull the clutch in.
he put me in touch with a dealer in Devon called PGH Motorcycles, Tel No 01803 616164 i rang them and they are sending me a small device called an easy clutch to make the clutch a lot easier to pull in, they did say that it is just like an hydraulic clutch but a lot cheaper. give them a buzz and see what they can do for you. hope this helps mate.

If the Easy Clutch is not installed proper you can get clutch pin wear also cable breakage.

I would suggest the Barnett Cables as they ease the pull a lot. I had a female rider that had the easy clutch and luckily she had no problems but after rebuilding the bike we threw a complimentary Barnett on and she didn't realize we took the Easy Clutch off! LOL

Thanks for the help, I think I'll try the Barnett Cables, but upon looking on their website I didn't see a clutch cable for and 08 Vegas, I'll have to call them and check. Sucks to get old, but it beats the alternative!

Default Clutch assist

I have a 2009 kingpin 8ball. I too found the clutch stiff. I ordered a a clutch assist off ebay. The one that said it wouldnt fit my bike. They have been saying the newer ones are on the way for about a year. Anyways the one they were selling looked like it would fit my bike. I ordered it and it was real close. I took a dremel to the inside of it and now it fits fine and is a great assist. It also looks much nicer than the stock piece. Muddy

Give Scott at Conquest Customs a call. He keeps them in stock
