Default Any Recommended Cleaning Solutions for a Matte Finish??

Hi,

I was going to order the Dr Beasley's matte paint motorcycle kit for $99, or just the wash for $29. It has gotten great reviews, but I'm hoping there may be a cheaper alternative.

Any recommended cleaning solutions for a matte finish?

THANKS!

Default Water

If its bugs just wet soft teeshirt and lay it on tank for a bit and it will come right off. I have only used water for my whole bike and it works great and easy. Cheap also!
I do a wheel spray on wheels.

On my HighBall I use dawn dish soap and a micro fiber cloth. In between washes I use non ammonia windex. The tires I use a generic simple green.

I'm using this stuff to wash my Judge:

And then I wipe it down with the Victory matte paint protectant.

Thanks for the responses. I ended up purchasing the matte wash from Chemical Guys and the matte detailer as well. Here is the link to the detailer:

I'll let you know how it turns out.

Since we don't wax these bikes like normal gloss paint jobs, that Chemical Guys Matte Detailer looks like about as good as it gets. I'm going to try it.

Any other suggestions anyone might have for an 'affordable' spray on protectant/sealant to keep Vickie's matte paint lookin' perdy?

Been using the Harley denim cleaner, works a little better than the ammonia free windex. After this bottle is gone I'll go back to the windex for the cost if I have to use a little more it is no biggy.
