I've only had my 07 JP for about a month, but it came with the digital speedo/tach and i love it. its nice to have only the one guage for both fuctions, plus it shows what gear you are in. the speed shown matches my gps exactly. there are also alot of other fuctions i don't use like quarter mile and 0-60 time. i didn't get a manual with it, so i still don't know all it does.

There are a couple of threads on this with pics already. Use the search feature and they'll come up. The ONLY issue I've had is legibility in direct sunlight.

I love mine. I got the visor for mine from victory (like $20) I don't seem to have a problem seeing it even in bright sun. Plus, mine came with a chrome plate that took the place of the notification lights (check engine, low fuel, etc) That info flashes on the display. really cleans up the look of the bike IMO

Sounds like its the way to go for me- although I am a littlie on the strange side as I still like the stock speedo

Can you post a picture of yours installed and lit up? Did you do the work yourself??

Thanks

Sorry. Had a crazy weekend. Just now saw the post. I will try to get a pic taken and posted later today or first thing tomorrow. And I actually had it put on at the dealer before I picked it up (free labor) I can't imagine it being that difficult.

Thanks for posting-looking forward to the pix!!!

Also , did you get the cover plate from the dealer or was it an aftermarket item?

Sorry about the delay. Hope these help. the one that was taken outside, for some reason the camera wouldn't pick up on the display very well. i assure you it looks better than that. No problems seeing it at all. The plate came with the speedo, im pretty sure. If it didn't then they threw it in for free, and I highly doubt that. If you need anything else just holler. Thanks for being patient. BTW mine has a visor on it also. Cost like $20 from victory. Looks good without it, looks better with it IMO.

Is this a plug and play unit or does the dealer need to cut into the harness?
