Default cog

My mother is elderly and her joints have gotten to the point where climbing all her stairs ain't so much fun. I took off on the Vic this morning to see if I could find a nice ranch for sale.

I did a lot of two lane U-turns on my search today. I was enjoying the practice until I f*cked up and let the engine unwind a bit too much and it stalled in the middle of the damn Ueey. I have no crash bars and the $$$ signs started dancing in my head as I prepared to witness my gas tank mate with the asphalt. In a desperate attempt, I kicked my boot to the ground and straightened it out as I came to a complete halt.

I was in disbelief of how easily I was able to save that massive beast from going over. Just another day for me to give thanks to those magnificent engineers in Minnesota.

Yeah, I know I could do house searches online, but WTF fun is that?

You can always tell an engineer.

He's the guy who doesn't wreck his bike and then thanks other engineers for that condition.

We can't help it
We just keep moving
It's been that way since long ago

We mostly go where we have to go

Ya got me. I do hate the look of crash bars. So sue me, I'm a poser.

Hey Pop, this ain't no dirt bike. I've lifted Harleys off the stand that seemed like they require more effort than saving my slow moving behemoth with a decent lean angle. If Hollywood can have Emmies and Nashville can have Grammies, then I think it's only proper to give Minnesota's finest their due. Afterall, they produced something I enjoy day in and day out...
