Default IBA Rides/Mileage

If my recent IBA rides are approved, my total miles ridden while doing an Iron Butt ride will be 34,762 miles.

Only the actual mileage done during an IBA ride was counted in this total and of course all of the miles were done on a Victory.

Total "on the clock" IRON BUTT mileage – 34,762 miles.

2006 – My first IBA ride – (2004 Vegas)
SS1000 – 1,094 miles in 21 hours and 30 minutes. Day one Milwaukee, WI to Georgetown, CO.
Ride continued with stops at the Top of Mt. Evans, Moab, UT, Capitol Reef N.P., Bryce Canyon N.P., Zion N.P and Las Vegas, NV.
Full trip - 11 days – 4,252 miles.

2007 – The 1500 mile day and the ride to Tijuana - (2004 Vegas)
BBG1500 – 1,516 miles in 22 hours and 37 minutes. Day one.
Ride continued with stops in Utah, Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Border Fields State Park, CA (Southwestern most point in the lower 48), Tijuana, Sequoia N.P., Yosemite N.P.
crossed Hwy. 50 to the Badlands and then rode to Spirit Lake, IA for the Victory Rally.
Full trip - 16 days – 5,741 miles.

2008 – 48 States in less than 10 Days – (2004 Vegas). The first Victory to complete this ride.
48-10 – 8,199 miles in 9 days 14 hours and 22 minutes.
Full trip - 11 days – 8,758 miles.

2009 – Group ride to HELL , MI and Back - (2006 Kingpin)
Lake Michigan 1000 – 1,040 miles in 20 hours and 38 minutes.

2010 – 49 States in less than 10 Days – (2006 Kingpin). The first Victory to complete this ride.
49-10 – 8,818 miles in 9 days, 17 hours and 16 minutes.
SS5000 – 5000 miles in less than 5 days. Done during the 49-10.
Full trip -16 days - 11,907 miles.

First person to ride a Victory in all 50 States – Completed on the 4th of July, 2010.

2011 – BBG1500 – SS2000 Gold – SS1000 – (2010 Vision 8-Ball). SS2000 Gold - The first Victory to complete this ride.
With stops in SW Utah, Million Dollar Highway in CO, Durango, CO, Top of Pikes Peak and Rollinsville, CO.
BBG1500 – 1,521 miles in 23 hours and 54 minutes. Done during the SS2000 Gold.
SS2000 Gold – 2,047 miles in 34 hours and 16 minutes.
SS1000 – 1,080 miles in 18 hours and 56 minutes. The ride home.
Full trip - 6 days – 3,870 miles.

2012 – SS1000 – Ultimate Coast to Coast – (2010 Vision 8-Ball). The first Victory to complete this ride.
SS1000 – 1,034 miles -19 hours and 56 minutes. Completed on the way to Florida.
Ultimate Coast to Coast – Key West, FL to Prudhoe Bay, AK - 5,613 miles in 7 days, 10 hours and 10 minutes.
Full trip – 16 days – 11,197 miles.

2013 – SS1000 – Heaven to Hell – Heaven to Hell Gold – SS1000
SS1000 – 1071 miles – Milwaukee, WI to Idaho Springs, CO. - IBA Certification pending
Heaven to Hell – 1065 miles – Top of Mount Evans to Badwater, Death Valley - IBA Certification pending
Heaven to Hell Gold – 1044 miles – Badwater, Death Valley to Ely, NV, Independence Pass and the top of Pikes Peak - IBA Certification pending
SS1000 – 1141 miles – Colorado Springs, CO to Milwaukee, WI - IBA Certification pending

A good lookin resume Rollin, read some great trip reports on several of those rides. One of the reason I caught the IBA bug! Thanks for all the documentation!!!

Very very nice. I also have done a cople and know the work involved. Well done. As does Tim (hey Tim) I would love to see some routes and trip reports.

I commented over on ADV but I was blown away that you did that Ultimate Coast to Coast ride on a Vision.

So.....what did you ride "BV" before Victory?

2013 AF Green Crossed Country

Lloydz PTS +4 degrees
PC V
Lloydz air filter
1/4 turn throttle
99.7 HP/107.2TQ


Now you know how I've felt for the last 8 years:D
