Default FF Helmets

OK, I have to ask. I have heard and read the expression that 3/4 and half helmets provide better visibility.

Where are you looking? What are you wearing?

My glasses block more visibility than any of the modern FF I've owned in the past many years. Just wondering if it is real of perceived and if there are really any old school hold backs from the 70's.

Not trying to knock what one chooses to wear, if they choose to. I've just read and heard this on several occasions in all sorts of company and curiosity overwhelmed me.

When I started riding about 5 years ago I started with a half helmet because I felt to closed in with a full face plus I wanted to see better. I now ride with a full face and I can see everything just fine. The downside to a full face is when I am trying to back the bike up around my other toys and trucks I have a tough time seeing.

I feel that my peripheral vision is better with a half helmet. The bigger advantage is that I can hear so much better. Just my opinion, but wear whatever lets u be comfortable.
