Default warranty question

I stopped at the gas station today and noticed my left passenger floor board is gone, checked the right one and it was there but no e-clip or snap ring on the pin, so i took it off before it fell off. My question is will they replace it under warranty? It's nothing I did to make it fall off,and I bet they are not cheap.

If the floorboards were installed recently (likely within 90 days) by the dealer, you might have a shot. If they were hung on the bike when the dealer brought it in, you might have a shot, because they shoulda checked that stuff out before letting it roll out the door. But if you had 'em installed or bought the bike much more than a few months ago, I can almost guarantee they're gonna tell you to pound sand.

Oh yeah? Check out the current thread titled. "Fuel Pump Seal Question".

Sometimes asking a question is like trying to remember whether you threw the pin or the grenade. You can do it a bunch with no blowback but then one time it explodes all over you.
