Yeah, the infotainment stuff is nice I guess, but wearing a helmet, fairing mounted radios sound crappy, so it wouldn't do anything for me.

I do like two of their bikes though:

If i wanted a tour rig, the integrated nav is cool. Seems like there is a lot to distract a rider...I'm sure on a long trip it would be handy to have all that stuff. But not ALL motorcycle riders are as cautious as we are...I could see someone trying to find their favourite track or something and taking their eyes off the road just a second too long. And a second is all it take.

This is coming from a 2 time harley owner and former fanatic:

Same old left-side drive in the menagerie that is the primary and final drive system.
Same old chain primary and chain cam system (I assume).
Same old two-valve clunkly valve line.
Same old ergonomics designed to fit the average American back in the 50's who was significantly shorter on average in the bell curve.
Same gazillion gaskets as opposed to something like 8, because of the same tired but not so true drivetrain design.
Same ole.. same ole.. same ole..
Except now since they're forced to be fuel injected, even Harleys no longer sound like harleys.
But I imagine more expensive now.

... Therefore: I'm not in the least interested in whatever new paint-job or goodies they're offering.

... Owned two Harleys. My first, and my last.

2013 Hard-Ball - Lloydz VM1-DR cams, air filter, timing wheel, PCV, properly tuned at KMC

It is amazing how much bigger Americans have gotten over the years. My wife and I toured a war ship once and they listed the men's height and weight and everyone was under 6' and 150 lbs or so. Seemed odd, but then I weighed a lot less as a kid too. Maybe the Navy only selected smaller guys that fit into the limited spaces?

Think they took the batwing vent from the XCT and XC along with the audio cable? The nav screen looks very Gold Wing, and I don't understand how the voice recognition works at highway speeds.

What I do like are the updates to the fairings, bags and tour pack. Shows that they are willing to make changes after so many years. No more fighting to get the bags to open or close, I do like that.

Nav screens like that belong in cars or unable to operate when moving, I've been told that it is to easy to focus on the screen and forget you are on a bike. I really don't like the phone feature but that is me.

2012 Victory Cross Country Tour, Sunset Red.
Parts added to make her louder, faster and more mine.
Stage 1 filter and pipes, Lloydz VFIII & ATW.
Clearwater Darla, LED GLO, emergency lights and siren.
Bushtec hitch and harness, Kompact Kamp trailer.

I am looking forward to seeing them in the showroom and sitting down on one. I also see a future test ride or two. Will I buy one....NO...I don't see that happening, but glad to see some new interesting stuff from HD.

Has I was talking bikes with a good friend that is a HD owner and has problem after problem with his 08 road glide, throttle cable and such still 200.00+ everytime for them or him to repair whatever the issues was..

As we sat and talk his wife ask me about Vic. warranty and I said 5 yr. on the new ones but earlier models I wasn't sure..

She looked at him and said if HD offer a 5 year warranty them MF's would be bankrupt by morning, and further more the only reason they sell bikes is to sell their clothing..

I left I didn't need to be a witness or be testifying...

2013 XC and 2013 XCT
