Default It Happened....

A buddy of mine at work asked to sit on the bike, I obliged.... He dropped it.. I dropped it the day I got it home trying to walk it into a tight space. I was beside it and not on it and won't make that mistake again. However, when I dropped it the clutch side front peg caught it and it was no biggie. Well, this time not so lucky. The clutch lever end snapped off, the turn signal cover broke. I need these parts if anyone can point me in the right direction. thanks

Dealership but bring your big wallet. Ness also carries the levers and signals so this might be a good time to change them out if you have a mind to since you will be spending money anyway.

So why is your buddy not paying for the damage he caused?

He is. He was very upset, but as we all know sh... happens. When he attempted to get off of the bike he didn't get the kick stand pushed out all the way and it rocked back when he went to set it down and there she went. I'm just glad it didn't get the tank. I looked on the bay, didn't find much and I'd prefer to stay away from the dealer to keep the costs down.

I have. All the levers I've found say 05-07. I am assuming those are non-hydraulic clutch years? I actually really like the ness levers. They can be had for a little more than the oem one is. I called the dealer and the lever is $108 and the signal is 28. Not too bad on the signal but the lever.... OUCH! If the Ness levers will fit I'd prefer those. Looking at them physically I can't tell much of a difference, they both have 2 holes although I am not sure on the spacing. Can someone with more knowledge than me lmk if they'll work on my application?

Find out if the clutch lever is the same as a 2011 XR. If it is PM me your address and I'll send you a new one (still wrapped). Just so you know I wrecked last year and the dealer said my lever was scuffed so they ordered a new one which was backordered for 3 months. Rather than waiting I had them put my old lever back on.
